Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
  • Take and record vital signs of patients
  • Prepare treatment rooms for procedures, ensuring they are clean and well-stocked
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Perform dental receptionist duties, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
  • Assist with medical documentation and coding
  • Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations
Skills:
  • Proficient in taking vital signs and patient assessment
  • Knowledge of dental receptionist duties, including appointment scheduling and patient record management
  • Familiarity with medical imaging techniques, including x-rays
  • Understanding of medical coding practices
  • Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy laws
