Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Dentist 4 You. If you are looking for an opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, private practice, Dentist 4 You is the place for you. We operate one of the only fully Bilingual dental practices in Northwest Arkansas. At Dentist 4 You, we provide exceptional clinical care and customer service. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials and supplies
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule and confirm dental appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix software
- Follow HIPAA guidelines for patient privacy and confidentiality
- Assist with front office tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments
- Explain treatment plans to patients
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program
- X-ray certification required
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments, preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Dentrix dental software systems preferred, but not required.
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation standards.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
