Dental Assistant - Hygiene-Focused (with Cross-Training)

Corona de Tucson We're a small, well-run dental practice looking for a Dental Assistant who enjoys working with patients, keeps things moving smoothly, and is open to learning. This role will primarily support hygiene , with cross-training on the doctor side so you're not stuck doing the same thing forever. If you're organized, calm, and take pride in doing things correctly, you'll fit in well here. What You'll Be Doing Assisting hygienists with patient flow, room setup, turnover, and charting support Taking diagnostic radiographs and intraoral photos Performing coronal polishing Helping maintain efficient, on-time hygiene schedules Cross-training to assist the doctor with exams and procedures Sterilization, infection control, and keeping operatories running smoothly Creating a comfortable, respectful experience for patients of all ages What We're Looking For Arizona-licensed Dental Assistant (or eligible) Radiology certification required Coronal polishing certified Comfortable working primarily with hygiene, but open to learning doctor-side assisting Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate what needs to happen next Good communication skills with patients and teammates Bi-lingual a plus Experience is helpful, but attitude and work ethic matter more What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Predictable hours and a sustainable pace Cross-training and room to grow your skills A respectful, ethical practice environment A team that values competence, kindness, and efficiency (not chaos) Practice is small and growing Schedule MWF 7:30AM-4PM with expanded hours available for the right candidate How to Apply Send your resume and a short note about yourself to dentalfamilia25@gmail.com
