This unique position is ideal for a dental assistant who is cross-trained in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry or is interested in expanding their clinical skills across both specialties. We are looking for a team member who enjoys working with children, teens, and families while providing exceptional clinical care in a positive and fast-paced private practice environment. Schedule Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 7:45 AM - 4:45 PM Part-time and full-time opportunities available About Our Practice Popat Orthodontics & Madison Pediatric Dentistry is a privately owned, specialty dental practice committed to delivering outstanding orthodontic and pediatric dental care. ResponsibilitiesOrthodontic Assisting Assist the orthodontist with clinical procedures and patient care Place and remove orthodontic appliances as permitted by state regulations Take digital scans, impressions, and radiographs Educate patients on orthodontic treatment and oral hygiene Maintain accurate clinical records and charting Pediatric Dental Assisting Assist the pediatric dentist during restorative and preventive procedures Prepare treatment rooms and instruments Take radiographs and assist with patient examinations Help create a positive and comfortable experience for pediatric patients Provide post-treatment instructions to patients and parents General Duties Follow infection control and sterilization protocols Ensure treatment areas are clean, organized, and fully stocked Collaborate effectively with doctors and team members Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of orthodontic dental assisting experience required Experience in pediatric dentistry strongly preferred Private practice experience preferred Cross-training in both orthodontics and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-oriented mindset Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunity to expand clinical skills across two specialties Modern technology and state-of-the-art facilities Professional growth and continuing education opportunities If you are passionate about creating exceptional patient experiences and want to be part of a team that values excellence, teamwork, and growth, we would love to hear from you.
