We are a PRIVATE- non corporate practice looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing dental assistant to add to our team, who will make a dental visit more efficient and pleasant for patients. We have an awesome, fun, no drama team, and would love to help you find your dental home. We work 4 day weeks with full time hours. Work/Life balance is important to us! Responsibilities Welcome patients in the dental office Prepare patients for treatments ensuring their comfort Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed (restorative, crown and bridge, invisalign) Sterilize instruments according to regulations Assist the dentist or hygienist through 4-handed dentistry Undertake lab tasks as instructed - scanning with iTero Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked Maintain accurate patient records Skills Proven experience as dental assistant Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods Understanding of health & safety regulations Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plus Good computer skills Excellent communication and people skills Attention to detail Well-organized and reliable High school diploma; graduating from dental assistant school is preferred We would like someone who has experience with temporary crowns, invisalign and the iTero. We are willing to train!
