This role is central to the patient experience, and thrives on collaboration with doctors and staff to deliver a consistently positive visit for every patient. Responsibilities Greet and support patients before, during, and after their appointment Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos Prepare and sterilize the treatment room and equipment Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures Document orthodontic care by charting patient records Assist the orthodontist in assessing patients and implementing treatment plans Perform routine orthodontic duties, including adjusting orthodontic gear Qualifications Active license/registration to practice as a dental assistant, as required by your state 6+ months of experience as an orthodontic assistant CPR or BLS certification Completion of a CODA accredited dental assisting program (preferred) Proficiency fitting bands and brackets, tying arch wires, and taking impressions Punctual, professional, and a strong team player Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Organized with strong knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology What We Offer Competitive compensation Modern facilities and advanced technology Mentorship and career growth opportunities A diverse patient base and meaningful clinical work Pay is $28.00 - 33.00 per hour based on experience
