Job Description
Experienced Dental Assistant / RDA Established Private Dental Practice | Diamond Bar, CA We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and experienced Dental Assistant or RDA to join our dental team. We are an established private dental practice that takes pride in providing personalized, high-quality care in a comfortable and professional environment. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys dentistry, works well with patients and coworkers, and takes pride in helping the clinical day run smoothly. The right person for our office is organized, responsible, attentive to detail, and a team player . Just as importantly, you should have a warm personality and the ability to help patients feel comfortable and well cared for. What You'll Be Doing Your responsibilities will include: Greeting and seating patients and helping them feel comfortable Preparing treatment rooms for scheduled procedures Setting up instruments, materials, and equipment Providing efficient four-handed chairside assistance Taking dental radiographs when appropriately certified Assisting with digital scans, impressions, laboratory procedures, and other clinical procedures as trained Following proper sterilization and infection-control protocols Cleaning, disinfecting, organizing, and restocking treatment rooms Providing post-operative and oral hygiene instructions as directed by the dentist Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and patient records Helping with scheduling and basic front-office responsibilities when needed Maintaining a clean, organized, and professional clinical & office environment that includes daily housekeeping duties. What We're Looking For We would especially like to meet someone who is: Experienced in dental assisting Comfortable with four-handed dentistry Familiar with dental instruments, materials, and sterilization procedures Comfortable with computers and dental software Organized and attentive to details Dependable and punctual Able to anticipate what is needed during treatment Willing to learn and grow Comfortable helping wherever needed as part of a team Dental assisting school graduates are welcome to apply. RDA certification, radiology certification, coronal polishing, expanded-function training, digital scanning experience, and other applicable certifications are a plus.
