Job Description

Full-Time Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) We are seeking a dependable, professional, and motivated Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) to join our busy and growing dental practice. The ideal candidate is an experienced team player who takes pride in providing excellent patient care and helping the office operate efficiently. The candidate must be able to function effectively in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized, attentive, and professional. Professionalism, punctuality, consistent attendance, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential requirements for this position. Responsibilities Assist dentists with general dentistry, oral surgery, implants, endodontics, Invisalign, and other dental procedures Provide efficient four-handed chairside assistance Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and supplies before each procedure Anticipate the needs of the dentist and patient during treatment Take diagnostic-quality dental X-rays, panoramic images, and cone-beam scans Perform digital impressions and scans using iTero and 3Shape Assist with E4D in-house crown procedures Follow all infection-control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols Accurately document treatment and clinical notes in Dentrix Explain procedures clearly and help patients feel comfortable throughout their visits Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked treatment rooms Assist with sterilization and keep the clinical area running smoothly Adapt to schedule changes and shifting priorities while maintaining efficiency and attention to detail Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients, doctors, and coworkers Support fellow team members and assist wherever needed throughout the day Qualifications Current California Registered Dental Assistant license Current CPR/BLS certification Dental X-ray certification and all other required California RDA certifications RDA experience required Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, clinical procedures, and infection control required Dentrix experience preferred Experience with iTero, 3Shape, E4D, implants, oral surgery, endodontics, or Invisalign is a plus Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to work efficiently, remain composed, and prioritize responsibilities in a busy, fast-paced environment Ability to complete assigned duties promptly without sacrificing accuracy or quality of care Workplace Culture and Professional Expectations We value a respectful, positive, and team-focused workplace.
