We are looking for a motivated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant/Ortho Assistant to join our dynamic team. The Registered Dental Assistant/OA will support the orthodontist in delivering high-quality patient care by assisting with various clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a sterile and organized environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service to our patients. Benefits Competitive salary based on experience. Key Responsibilities:
Assist the orthodontist during a variety of treatment procedures. Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols. Take and develop x-rays as directed by the orthodontist. Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Order and manage dental supplies, ensuring that the office remains well-stocked and organized. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Support administrative duties as needed, including answering phones, greeting patients, and processing payments. Collaborate with the dental team to improve patient flow and the overall patient experience.Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred. Valid RDA license and certification in CPR and other relevant dental certifications as required by law. Previous experience as a dental assistant is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and patient care protocols. Proficient in taking digital radiographs and familiar with dental software systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on patient care. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
