Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including but not limited to general dentistry, endodontics, and prosthodontics. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Perform dental imaging as required, ensuring accurate positioning and quality of images. Take and record vital signs of patients prior to procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Ensure all dental instruments are sterilized and organized for use. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or similar role is preferred. Knowledge of dental anatomy, infection control procedures, and dental systems is essential. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques is advantageous. Strong understanding of various dental specialties including endodontics and prosthodontics. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification in dental assisting or relevant qualifications is a plus.
