Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a motivated and versatile team member to join our modern startup dental practice specializing in aesthetic dentistry in Huntington Beach. This role combines clinical assisting, patient coordination, front office support, digital laboratory workflows, and practice marketing responsibilities. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, enjoys technology, and is excited to grow with a practice from the ground up. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during clinical procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA, infection control, and HIPAA compliance. Obtain and document patients' medical histories, vital signs, and treatment records accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Take digital X-rays, intraoral photographs, CBCT scans, and digital impressions. Assist with digital laboratory workflows, including 3D printing and milling (training provided). Schedule appointments, answer phones, check patients in and out, collect payments, and support front office operations. Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients. Create and capture high-quality clinical photographs and videos for educational and marketing purposes. Assist with the practice's social media and online presence, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and basic website updates. Maintain inventory and help ensure that the office remains clean, organized, and fully stocked, including taking out trash and performing general office duties as needed. Perform additional administrative and operational responsibilities in support of a growing startup practice. Qualifications Dental assisting experience is required. RDA license or RDAEF certification is preferred. Candidates must possess all California-required certifications, including Infection Control, Radiation Safety, and current CPR/BLS certification. Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills. Comfortable with technology and willing to learn new systems and digital workflows. Positive attitude, professionalism, and enthusiasm for contributing beyond traditional dental assisting responsibilities. Why Join Us? Pay:
$23.00 - $37.00 per hour
