Job Description

Join the dynamic team at TMJ & Sleep Therapy Centre of San Diego as an Orofacial Pain Dental Assistant and become a vital part of revolutionizing pain management and sleep therapy without surgery! As an orofacial pain dental assistant, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training in TMJD/Orofacial pain/Sleep medicine treatment. Your role will involve utilizing your strong verbal skills to effectively communicate with staff, medical and dental providers and patients ensuring they understand their treatment plans and are compliant. A positive and energetic demeanor is essential, coupled with a background in dentistry or clinical healthcare. We're seeking individuals with excellent communication and computer skills, proficient in medical and dental terminology, and adept at multitasking in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:
Minimum 1 year of dental/medical assistant experience CPR/BLS certification (required) Completion of California Board Approved Radiation Safety Course Certified Medical/Dental Assistant preferred Key Responsibilities (but not limited to): Ensure adherence to clinical procedures, protocols, and policies Maintain accurate chart documentation Oversee lab systems management for quality and timely distribution of cases Utilize Cone Beam CT machine, Pharyngometer, Rhinometer, and other diagnostic tests Keep treatment rooms stocked and patient handouts readily available Patient tracking Responding to patient phone calls/emails regarding treatment In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including free parking, health insurance, paid time off, and on-the-job training.
