Full Job Description Overview:
We are a private, family-focused dental office in Livermore seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to support our hygiene department with occasional front office responsibilities. Our practice values exceptional patient care, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment for every patient. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit office and takes pride in providing outstanding support to both patients and the clinical team.
Schedule:
Monday:
9:00 AM•6:00
PM Tuesday:
7:30 AM•4:00
PM Friday:
7:15 AM•1:00
PM Responsibilities:
Assist the hygienist with patient care and treatment procedures. Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms before and after appointments. Sterilize and organize instruments according to infection control protocols. Take digital radiographs as needed. Maintain accurate patient records. Stock operatories and monitor clinical supplies. Assist with scheduling, answering phones, and other front office duties as needed. Help ensure a positive, comfortable experience for every patient.
Qualifications:
Dental Assistant experience preferred. X-ray certification. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to multitask and work well in a team-oriented environment. Positive attitude and a commitment to exceptional patient care.
