In this multifaceted role, you will provide exceptional front desk support, manage patient interactions, and assist with clinical procedures. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, accurate documentation, and a welcoming environment for all patients. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance coverage, and perform insurance verification to facilitate smooth appointment scheduling and billing processes Manage patient check-in and check-out using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Epic, Meditech, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate data entry and documentation review Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software; coordinate with multiple-line phone systems to handle patient inquiries with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette Assist dental providers during procedures by preparing instruments, maintaining sterilization protocols, and supporting clinical workflows in accordance with dental terminology standards Handle and ensure accurate claims submission to dental insurances. Maintain organized dental records and files, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and health information management best practices Support administrative functions such as filing, data entry (including 10 key typing), managing care plans, and processing intake forms for new patients Qualifications Proven experience in a dental clinic or medical office environment with strong knowledge of dental terminology and dental administrative support Experience with Eaglesoft, Dexis or patient management software is highly desirable Familiarity with dental coding including ADA codes; understanding of dental billing processes and insurance verification procedures Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite; ability to navigate multiple software platforms efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and health information management Exceptional customer service skills coupled with professional phone etiquette; bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Previous clinic or dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental or healthcare environment is advantageous Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude Join us in delivering outstanding patient care through a combination of clinical support and administrative excellence!
