The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth patient experience and supporting the dental team in delivering high-quality care. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process. Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively. Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software, preferably Eaglesoft or Epic. Assist with insurance verification and processing claims. Prepare treatment plans and communicate them clearly to patients. Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean work environment. Support the dental team during procedures by understanding four-handed dentistry techniques. Perform basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and managing phone calls. Requirements Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar role is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology, including Endodontics, Prosthodontics, Pediatric dentistry, and Vital signs is highly desirable. Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Epic is a plus. Knowledge of X-Ray procedures and infection control standards is essential. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to dental practices.
