We specialize in both pediatric dentistry and orthodontics, with a goal to provide exceptional care in a comfortable and modern setting.

Duties:
Assist the orthodontist during procedures, including braces placement, adjustments, and retainer fittings Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment Take dental x-rays, ensuring the highest quality images Prepare materials for orthodontic appointments, appliances, and retainers Itero Scanning Educate patients on orthodontic care, including post-treatment instructions and oral hygiene techniques Perform basic laboratory tasks such as creating and trimming models and working with retainers. Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records Assist when needed with medical coding and billing processes Utilize electronic health record systems for patient management Ensure patient comfort during orthodontic treatments, creating a positive experience for both children and adults Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and recording medical history Assist with digital impressions and iTero scanning
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience Current certification in dental assisting (CDA) preferred Knowledge of orthodontic terminology, procedures, and instruments Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes Proficiency in using electronic health record systems Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from the orthodontist Experience with orthodontic patients is a plus This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team.
