Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate, and energetic Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is a team player who is comfortable with both clinical and administrative duties and is committed to delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Take digital X-rays and intraoral photos Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean operatory Prepare and organize tools needed for procedures Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op instructions Manage patient records and charting in Open Dental (experience preferred) Maintain inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Qualifications:
Valid California RDA or DA license X-ray certification Coronal polishing At least 1 year of experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate Familiarity with Open Dental software is a plus Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
