The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic, providing exceptional support to both patients and dental professionals. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, proficiency with dental software, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Duties Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all equipment is ready for use. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient scheduling, including confirming appointments and following up on cancellations. Monitor and record vital signs as required during patient visits. Support the front office with administrative tasks when necessary, including answering phones and managing patient inquiries. Qualifications Proficiency in dental terminology is essential for effective communication within the clinic. Experience with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix is preferred. Familiarity with medical imaging techniques related to dentistry. Strong understanding of human anatomy relevant to dental procedures. Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments. Strong interpersonal skills to create a welcoming environment for patients.
