This is an opportunity for an experienced dental professional who wants more than simply "assisting." We are looking for someone who understands patient flow, anticipates the doctor's needs, takes ownership of the clinical environment, and helps create an exceptional experience from the moment the patient is seated through completion of treatment. If you are dependable, highly organized, comfortable with modern dental technology, and enjoy working collaboratively with doctors, hygiene, and administrative team members, we'd like to meet you. What You'll Do As an integral member of our clinical team, you will: Provide confident four-handed chairside assistance during restorative, crown and bridge, veneers, prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, Invisalign, emergency procedures, and full mouth rehabilitation cases. Anticipate the doctor's needs and maintain efficient clinical flow throughout the day Take high-quality digital radiographs Perform accurate intraoral digital scans - ITero Fabricate well-fitting temporary crowns and bridges Accurately chart existing conditions, treatment, and clinical information in the Dentrix practice management software Review postoperative instructions and educate patients before and after treatment Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory and ordering Support the doctor and hygiene departments to keep patient care running efficiently and on schedule Communicate proactively with the administrative team regarding treatment, scheduling, and patient needs Help create a warm, professional, and exceptional experience for every patient
What We're Looking For Required:
Current California RDA or RDAEF license 5+ years of dental assisting experience Strong four-handed dentistry and chairside assisting skills Experience with crown and bridge and prosthodontic procedures Intraoral scanning experience Experience fabricating temporary crowns/bridges Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to confidently manage multiple priorities in a busy clinical environment Spanish-speaking is a plus, and not required.
