Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while ensuring the smooth operation of our dental clinic. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist the dentist during various procedures, including endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are ready for use. Employ four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during treatments. Follow aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment and prevent infection. Take and develop dental X-rays as needed, adhering to safety protocols. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling appointments. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a positive patient experience. Experience Previous experience in dental assisting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome motivated candidates eager to learn. Knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is beneficial for effective communication within the team and with patients. Familiarity with dental clinic operations, including sterilization procedures and equipment maintenance. Proficiency in using dental software for record keeping is a plus.
