The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations, and maintaining the highest standards of infection control and patient safety. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical documentation is essential. Duties Assist dentists during various procedures including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and Dental imaging such as X-rays and 3D scans Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring aseptic techniques are followed Take vital signs and monitor patient comfort throughout procedures Manage patient records and maintain HIIPA standards Educate patients on dental terminology, procedures, and post-treatment care Assist with infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Apply knowledge of anatomy and dental terminology to facilitate effective communication within the team Experience Prior experience in dental assisting or working within a dental clinic setting is preferred Knowledge of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and medical imaging including X-ray procedures Certification in dental assisting or relevant training in chairside assisting is desirable
