Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Assistant/RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities Assist dentists chairside during procedures such as restorations, extractions, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry with precision and professionalism. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental equipment, and ensuring all supplies are ready for patient care. Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays), including digital imaging, adhering to infection prevention protocols and radiation safety standards. Manage patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like Eaglesoft ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and clinical notes. Provide patient care by taking vital signs, explaining procedures clearly, and addressing patient questions to foster comfort and trust. Maintain strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and infection control procedures in line with HIPAA regulations. Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow as a dental receptionist, and coordinating with the team for efficient clinic operations. Requirements Valid RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification or equivalent licensure required; experience as a dental assistant is highly preferred. Proficiency with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft experience with patient management software is a plus. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform X-ray procedures safely following infection prevention management protocols. Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and working with children is desirable. Strong understanding of medical documentation standards and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and collaborate within a healthcare team.
