Registered Dental Assistant (RDA)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our amazing, fun team at Redding Dental Group. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office by providing high-quality care to our patients. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, and documentation, and aseptic techniques to assist in various procedures effectively. Responsibilities Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, adhering to aseptic techniques. Manage patient records, including dental documentation and dental records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Take and record vital signs as necessary, providing essential information for patient care. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, including sterilization of instruments. Support all age groups with a compassionate approach towards all patients. Experience Previous experience in a dental office with a minimum of 3 years is preferred. Familiarity with dental terminology is essential. Knowledge of general dentistry practices. Knowledge with Dentrix computer software. Proficiency in assisting with various dental procedures while maintaining a sterile environment. Experience with Intra oral scanners and implant crowns preferred. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing dental documentation.
