Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate is someone who: Brings positive energy into the office Is passionate about dentistry and patient care Is focused, organized, and detail-oriented Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done Works with urgency while still maintaining quality Keeps operatories clean, organized, stocked, and ready Communicates professionally with patients, doctors, and teammates Understands the importance of staying one step ahead of the doctor Is dependable, punctual, and consistent Handles busy days without losing their composure Is willing to learn and accepts coaching well Notices the small things that others may overlook Wants to contribute to the success of the entire office not just complete their own tasks Responsibilities Assist doctors during dental procedures Prepare and turn over operatories efficiently Maintain proper sterilization and infection-control protocols Take quality dental X-rays Review charts and prepare for upcoming patients Make sure rooms are fully stocked before treatment begins Help maintain smooth patient flow throughout the day Provide patients with a warm, professional, and reassuring experience Communicate clearly with the front office and treatment coordinator Help the team stay ahead of the schedule Support both general dentistry and specialty procedures as needed Maintain a clean, organized, professional clinical environment The FDS Standard At Folsom Dental Specialties, we care deeply about the experience our patients have from the moment they walk through the door.
