In this vital role, you will support dentist during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and safety. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages, including pediatric dentistry. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while making a positive difference every day. Duties Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for procedures in accordance with dental sterilization procedures and infection prevention management policies Assist dentists chairside during a variety of treatments such as oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency Take and develop dental x-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality Manage patient records and medical documentation accurately within Eaglesoft ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies Conduct vital signs assessments and medical history updates to support comprehensive patient care Educate patients on oral health practices, post-treatment care instructions, and explain dental terminology clearly to promote understanding and comfort Support the dental reception team by managing appointment scheduling through patient management software and handling patient inquiries professionally Experience Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in dental assisting duties and clinical procedures Knowledge of dental equipment operation, including X-ray machines, 3D scanners, and sterilization tools Strong understanding of infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, and healthcare infection prevention standards Experience with EMR systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for managing medical records and documentation Ability to perform dental instrument processing efficiently while maintaining strict adherence to sterilization procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical terminology clearly to patients of all ages Join us in delivering exceptional dental care by combining your technical expertise with your passion for patient well-being.
