Registered Dental Assistant

Job Overview Small but growing dental office is looking for a candidate to fill the position of dental assistant. Licensed RDA preferred, but not required. The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting the doctor with patient procedures
• Infection control and sterilization
• Charting and note taking
• Taking radiographs (periapical and bitewing)
• Assisting with oral hygiene instructions
• Occasionally assisting with the front office:
• Communication with patients and other dental offices
• Scheduling
• Answering phone calls
• Coronal polishing and temporary crown fabrication would be a plus
• Ability to take good alginate impressions and pour models cleanly also a plus Work experience can be helpful, but not necessary.

Having an open mind and being able to adapt to our workplace, working well with patients and other members of our staff, and assisting the office to provide the best possible experience for our patients is critical. Our office is looking for a candidate that is the right match and is willing to stay for the long term as our office grows and matures.
