Job Description

Position:
Part time or full time dental assistant for Dr. Lee in his dental practice in Santa Clara. Looking for an outgoing applicant with great communication skills who can help deliver quality and comfortable care to our patients.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Experienced Dental Assistant (DA) with at least 2 years of clinical experience Must have x-ray certification and have experience with digital x-rays Must have infection control certification Must have coronal polishing certification Must have valid CPR license Experience with Dentrix needed, but additional training can be provided on the job
Responsibilities:
Setting up instrument trays and materials according to scheduled procedure Preparing patient for dentist Accurately recording medical and dental information Assist dentist with digital charting Take x-rays, as needed by dentist Assist dentist through procedures Procedures will include exams, cleanings, composite fillings, crowns, root canals, whitening, and implants. Past experience in all procedures is a plus, but training can be provided on the job. Cleaning and disinfecting treatment rooms after each patient Instrument disinfection and sterilization Conduct work in compliance with office policies and procedures, safety and OSHA guidelines
Salary:
Flexible and based on experience
Range:
starting $25 - $30 an hour Plenty of room for raises for the right candidate!
