Job Description
## Job Summary New Smile Orthodontics is seeking a rockstar Orthodontic Assistant to join our awesome team. The ideal candidate will assist the orthodontist in providing orthodontic care to patients, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience. ## Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during orthodontic procedures,
- archwire changes,bonding, banding, Itero digital scanning, working with clear aligners
- Polishing and cleaning teeth after braces removal
- Perform X-Rays and medical imaging as required
- Maintain aseptic technique and ensure infection control protocols are followed
- Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately
- Support with dental receptionist duties when needed
- Provide assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques ## Requirements
- Experience in orthodontic or dental assisting preferred
- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures and medical imaging techniques
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control practices
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
