Full Job Description Dental Assistant Position Overview :
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Dental Assistant to support our dental team. This role is responsible for assisting dentists during procedures, preparing patients for treatment, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinical workflow. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and experienced in maintaining a high standard of patient care.Key Responsibilities :
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, fillings, and extractions Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials prior to patient visits Take and develop dental X-rays in accordance with safety regulations Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards Greet, prepare, and educate patients on procedures and post-care instructions Accurately document patient information, charting, and treatment updates in the EMR system Manage inventory, restock supplies, and ensure operatory readiness Collaborate with dental providers and front office staff to support patient flow and schedulingQualifications :
Dental Assistant certification Minimum 1 year of dental assisting experience preferred Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment RDA- up to 25.43/hr DA-up to 23.41/hr Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tracy, CA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
