Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic position, you will support dentists during a variety of procedures, ensure smooth clinic operations, and help create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and medical documentation will contribute to maintaining the highest standards of safety and comfort. Duties Assist dentists chairside during general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry procedures with precision and care Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up dental tools, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly using aseptic techniques Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft, ensuring accurate medical documentation and coding Monitor vital signs and medical history to support safe treatment planning for patients of all ages Provide excellent dental reception services by scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and guiding patients through their visit process Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA standards to uphold a safe clinical environment Requirements Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft; familiarity with Epic or similar platforms is a plus Strong understanding of infection control practices, aseptic techniques, and sterilization procedures Ability to perform chairside assisting efficiently during various dental procedures including pediatric dentistry and prosthodontics Knowledge of medical terminology, medical imaging techniques, and medical coding for accurate documentation Experience with X-ray procedures, 3D scanners, and vital signs monitoring preferred Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients, team members, and external healthcare providers Join us in providing outstanding dental care while advancing your skills in a supportive, energetic environment!
