Job Description

Dental Assistant Job Duties As a Dental Assistant, you will be integral to providing high-quality dental care and ensuring a smooth workflow in the clinic. Your core responsibilities will include chairside assisting in all procedures daily. Join our team to contribute to exceptional dental services in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. Duties include, but are not limited to: Dental Assisting Demonstrates superior knowledge of all doctor systems and assisting processes. Bringing Patients from check-in to the operatory Breaking down and setting up rooms prior to treatment. Preparing patients for procedures by getting x-rays, setting up instruments, reviewing health history and medications etc. Assist Doctor during procedures and exams. Complete detailed charts notes, by end of business day Dismiss patient from chair and escort to front office for checkout Educate patients in oral care, practice procedures, exams, and procedures. Material Management Demonstrate superior knowledge of all equipment, instruments, and supplies. Stock supplies and replenishment of treatment areas Cleaning and Maintenance Cleaning, sterilization, maintaining and storage of instruments and equipment Cleaning and maintaining treatment rooms. Collection and preparation for disposal of medical waste Helping other assistants with cleaning and sterilization when permitted Office Participation and Professionalism Be kind, courteous, and respectful to all patients, staff, doctors, and others Be an active participant in staff meetings Perform tasks as assigned by the dentist or manager Take

to identify and execute ways to continually improve individual and practice performance Help others perform their tasks when overloaded or to otherwise increase the operational and emotional performance of the practice.
