Dental Assistant

Overview Top pay for a top performer! We are seeking an amazing, experienced Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Must have at least 2 years of general dentistry experience (your schooling and internship don't count towards this number). Work schedule would be Tuesday through Friday. (Off early on Fridays!) The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality services. Team player wanted. Responsibilities Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate patient records using OpenDental software. Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the clinic. Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Lead by example Shop for/order supplies Experience At least 2 years previous experience in an assisting role is required Experience with OpenDental software is desirable. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team are crucial for success in this role.
