Dental Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of patients. Duties:

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments
• Provide post-operative instructions to patients
• Perform basic laboratory duties, such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts
• Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices Open and Affordable Dental is looking for an entry-level dental assistant for immediate hire.

The position is 36 hours per week. You will be trained for this position, no previous experience is necessary. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Friendly. Capable of multitasking. Team player. Punctual and Reliable. Self Starter Comfortable with computers and learning new systems. Bilingual a plus. Will work 3 or 4, 12 hour shifts per week including Saturdays.
