In this role, you will support dentist during procedures, ensure a smooth flow within the clinic, and create a welcoming environment for patients of all ages. Your expertise in dental assisting, infection control, and patient education will help us deliver excellent dental services while fostering a positive patient experience. Responsibilities Assist dentist chairside during various procedures Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and materials following infection control protocols. Take digital dental X-rays Manage patient records accurately within Eaglesoft, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, updating medical records, and other duties to support the team Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control standards Maintain required logs and autoclave maintenance Skills Proficiency in dental assisting techniques including chairside assisting, four-handed dentistry, and medical documentation. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Experience with dental EMR systems Ability to operate dental equipment safely. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and infection control practices to protect patient confidentiality and safety. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with dentist, hygienist, patients, and administrative staff.
Pay:
$24.00 - $30.00 per hour
