Job Description

Orthodontic Assistant
PATIL ORTHODONTICS
Erie, CO Job Details Full-time $26 - $29 an hour 5 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Qualifications Chairside assisting Interpersonal skills Inventory management HIPAA Attention to detail Full Job Description Orthodontic Assistant (Experienced) "Yes, you CAN love your job. No, this isn't a trap." Let's be honest…Most ortho job ads sound like they were written in 2007. "Fast-paced environment." "Team player." "Detail-oriented." Cool… but what's it actually like to work there? So here's the real deal Who We Are We're an orthodontic office where: The schedule is busy (but the vibes are good) The team laughs daily (sometimes at each other… respectfully) Patients actually enjoy coming in (wild, we know) We take what we do seriously… but not ourselves We're looking for an Experienced Orthodontic Assistant who can jump in, keep up, and maybe even out-joke us.
What You'll Actually Do AKA:
Your daily highlight reel Assist with braces, adjustments, debonds—you're basically the orthodontist's right hand Take X-rays, photos, and 3D scans like a tech-savvy wizard Keep everything clean, sterile, and organized (because chaos is not cute) Teach patients how not to destroy their brackets 2 hours after leaving Chart like a pro while staying HIPAA-compliant Use Dolphin software (if you know, you know) Help manage inventory so we don't enter "where did all the wire go?" mode Help the clinical team and keep the day running smooth—not in survival mode Who You Are You've got ortho assisting experience (this isn't your first bracket rodeo) You can talk to literally anyone—kids, teens, parents, shy patients, that one talkative patient You're organized enough to make chaos nervous You can multitask without short-circuiting You're cool with traveling between two locations You bring good energy—because attitudes spread fast
Bonus Points If You:
Know 3D scanners / printing Can fix a bracket and a bad mood Have ever said "wear your rubber bands" more than 500 times in your life The Perks (aka why you'll stay) 401(k) + matching Health insurance PTO Employee discounts A team that actually helps each other (no silent suffering here) 4 day work week every week. The Vibe Check This job is for you if: You like being busy (time flies here) You enjoy laughing at work You care about patients beyond just "next!" You want to be part of a team—not just fill a spot This job is NOT for you if: You hate talking to people You panic when things get busy You think "good enough" is good enough The Details Full-time In-person 1+ year ortho assisting experience required Final Pitch We're building something special here—great culture, great patients, great team. All we're missing… is you. Apply now before someone cooler takes your spot.
