Registered/Certified Dental Assistant (RDA/CDA) to join our amazing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hardworking, dependable, detail-oriented team player with a friendly, outgoing personality, superb work ethic, stellar communication skills, and outstanding customer service.
The ideal professional must:
Have experience with the range of procedures in general dentistry Have experience with four-handed dentistry Competence in digital dentistry, including intraoral scanning Competence in high-quality digital x-rays Experience with Invisalign clear aligners Demonstrate competence in dental anatomy, oral health, and dental assisting techniques Have excellent oral and written communication skills Possess the ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Have critical thinking skills and the ability to find solutions to challenges Take ownership of daily tasks and approach each day with determination and confidence Be punctual and be able to manage time Have a strong desire to work with a diverse patient population of all ages Be computer savvy - previous experience with Dentrix is a plus! Be passionate about providing the highest quality of care and take pride in the patient experience Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting the Dentist chair side Assisting Dental Hygienists as needed Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms Taking high quality x-rays, intraoral scans, and photographs for diagnosis and treatment planning Sterilizing instruments, stocking/re-stocking rooms, maintaining inventory, maintaining equipment, managing lab cases, doing supervised dental lab work Following all infection control protocols to maintain a safe environment for our patients and staff
Qualifications/Experience:
High school diploma or GED or higher At least 1 year of dental assisting experience Formal post-secondary accredited dental assisting training certification from the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). Must possess a current Dental Assistant registration license issued from the District of Columbia Board of Dentistry. Must possess a valid CPR card at the time of appointment or must successfully pass a CPR course within 30 days of hire. Must be computer literate with ability to enter information into the practice management software (Dentrix) and compile reports or data as requested Must be proficient with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel Familiarity with digital dentistry (e.g., iTero, CBCT) is a plus, can be trained Bilingual is a plus

$25.00 - $28.00 per hour (pay based on experience)
