Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic private dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of dental procedures and patient care, ensuring a comfortable and efficient experience for our patients. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist during various procedures and managing patient interactions. Duties Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, employing four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency. Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment, ensuring an aseptic technique is followed at all times. Take medical imaging, including X-rays and 3D scans, to assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. Document patient medical histories and treatment plans accurately in compliance with medical documentation standards. Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Support endodontic procedures by preparing materials and instruments as required. Manage appointment schedules, ensuring optimal patient flow within the practice. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental office, adhering to safety protocols. Experience The ideal candidate should have: Knowledge of anatomy related to dental health. Experience with general dentistry practices. Familiarity with dental coding for accurate documentation. Proficiency in using dental technology such as 3D scanners and imaging equipment. Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
