Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented (potentially cross-trained) Dental Assistant/Receptionist to join our healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional patient care and efficient administrative support within a busy dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of dental office operations. As a key member of our team, you will ensure smooth daily clinic functions while delivering outstanding service to our patients. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify insurance information, and schedule appointments using dental practice management software such as Open Dental. Assist dentists during procedures by preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, managing dental supplies, assisting chairside Collect payments, process insurance claims, verify coverage, and perform billing using systems like Meditech, Epic, or Athenahealth. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems including eClinicalWorks or EMR platforms in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Review documentation for accuracy, update care plans, and ensure proper coding using
