Dental Hygiene Assistant:

Assist the dental hygienist with patient care and clinical procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms Take and process dental X-rays if certified Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Follow infection control & OSHA guidelines Support patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions Help manage the hygiene schedule & ensure workflow efficiency Restock and organize hygiene supplies Prepare and present treatment plans when needed Assist other clinical team members as needed to support smooth patient care

Requirements:

Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred, especially hygiene work X-ray certification required or willingness to obtain it Strong communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented, team-focused, and organized Familiarity with dental software, especially Dentrix, is a plus
