The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous dental assisting experience Radiology certification Strong communication and customer-service skills We are looking for someone who works well with a team, takes pride in their work, and is interested in a long-term position.
Responsibilities may include:
Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures Taking radiographs (x-rays) Helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures, such as the placement of a restoration (filling) Taking impressions or digital scans of patients' teeth for study casts (models of teeth) Maintaining infection-control standards throughout the office Supporting front-office duties when needed, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and communicating with patients
