As an EFDA, you'll play an essential role in creating positive dental experiences for children while supporting our doctors in delivering exceptional clinical care. Clinical Support Assist dentists during restorative, surgical, and other pediatric dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care Maintain infection control and sterilization standards Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked Expanded Functions Perform expanded duties as permitted by state regulations, including: Placing and contouring restorations Taking impressions Applying sealants Taking dental radiographs (X-rays) Assisting with patient charting and clinical documentation Patient Care Welcome and prepare patients for treatment Help children feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit Educate patients and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient and family Office Support Maintain accurate patient records Assist with scheduling and appointment confirmations when needed Monitor and help maintain dental supply inventory Qualifications
