Role:
Join Dr J Family dental as a Patient Coordinator/Dental Assistant in Largo, FL, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. This exciting opportunity allows you to be the friendly face of our practice, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for our patients.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Manage patient scheduling and appointment reminders to optimize clinic flow. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Assist the dentist during procedures, providing necessary tools and support. Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols. Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene practices. Handle billing and payment processing efficiently and accurately. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Requirements:
What we're looking for: Friendly & positive attitude Team player with strong communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish preferred) Organized and motivated Dental experience preferred, but personality and willingness to learn matter too! High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred. Previous experience in a dental office or healthcare setting is a plus. Proficient in dental software Open Dental, Dentrix. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Positive attitude and a passion for providing outstanding patient care. Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is advantageous.
