What We're Looking For:

A friendly, motivated individual who's committed to being a true dental professional Candidate must be willing to commute to our locations in both Margate and Lauderdale by the Sea. Each day of the week we are in a certain location. This position is primarily located in our Lauderdale by the Sea office. At least 2 years of dental assisting experience required. Experience with Expanded Functions is a big plus. Proficiency in using 3D scanners for imaging is a plus. Knowledge of dental billing coding related to dental procedures is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members. Certification in CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) is required (training can be provided). What you'll do: Assist the dentist on clinical procedures Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and sterilize instruments and dental equipment before procedures. Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed. Record patient vital signs and medical histories accurately. Manage patient records using Open Dental software. Provide education to patients regarding oral hygiene, treatment plans, and post-operative care. Assist the front desk in scheduling appointments, including answering phones and handling patient inquiries if needed. Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with health regulations. Management of inventory and ordering of dental supplies. Keep the back office running smoothly and efficiently.
