Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the clinical operations of our modern dental practice. In this energetic role, you will assist dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your expertise in dental procedures, equipment, and patient management will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel cared for and confident in their oral health journey. Duties Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment to ensure smooth clinical operations Assist dentists during various procedures including oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, with precision and professionalism Take high-quality dental x-rays and operate medical imaging devices such as 3D scanners while adhering to all safety protocols Manage patient records using electronic medical record , Dentrix, and patient management software to ensure accurate documentation Perform dental instrument processing, sterilization procedures, and infection prevention management following aseptic techniques and clinical confidentiality policies Record vital signs and medical documentation to support comprehensive patient care and treatment planning Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist when needed, managing patient flow, scheduling appointments, and providing excellent customer service Requirements Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar dental clinic setting with knowledge of general dentistry procedures Familiarity with systems Dentrix for efficient medical records management Strong understanding of dental terminology, equipment operation, and infection control practices including dental sterilization procedures Ability to perform chairside assisting with four-handed dentistry techniques for efficiency and comfort during procedures Knowledge of anatomy relevant to oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry is highly desirable Certification in dental x-ray technology and proficiency in taking radiographs according to safety standards Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain procedures clearly while maintaining clinical confidentiality at all times Commitment to healthcare infection prevention and control standards with attention to detail in medical documentation Join us if you're passionate about providing outstanding patient care through technical expertise and compassionate service.
