We are building a collaborative team dedicated to creating exceptional patient experiences from day one. Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Dental Assistant to join our clinical team. In this role, you will support Dr. Merchi and the clinical team across a variety of procedures, ensuring smooth workflow and a comfortable, high-quality experience for every patient. Key Responsibilities Assist Dr. Merchi during a wide range of dental procedures Prepare and sterilize instruments and operatories according to infection control standards Take and process dental X-rays (if certified) Support patient care by ensuring comfort and clear communication throughout visits Maintain accurate clinical documentation and charting support Manage treatment room setup and breakdown efficiently Assist with impressions, temporary restorations, and other chairside tasks as needed Ensure a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment Collaborate with the team to deliver an exceptional patient experience Requirements Florida Dental Assistant certification preferred Radiology certification (or willingness to obtain) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Positive, patient-focused attitude Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a general or specialty dental practice Familiarity with digital dental software and imaging systems Expanded functions certification (a plus but not required) What We Offer Competitive pay Opportunity to join a brand-new, modern dental practice Supportive, team-driven culture Hands-on learning and professional growth opportunities Exposure to advanced dental technology and systems If you're passionate about patient care and excited to be part of a growing practice from the ground up, we'd love to meet you.
