Job Description

Traveling Endodontic Assistant Join a Growing Private Dental Group Serving the Tampa Bay Area Dental Sedation Centers is seeking an experienced and motivated Traveling Endodontic Assistant to support our Endodontic team across multiple office locations throughout the Tampa Bay region. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled dental professional who enjoys variety, teamwork, and providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced specialty environment. As a Traveling Endodontic Assistant, you will work alongside our Endodontist to assist with root canal procedures while helping ensure a comfortable and positive experience for every patient.
Responsibilities:
Assist the Endodontist during root canal therapy and other endodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization protocols are followed Take and process digital radiographs and CBCT scans Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes Educate patients regarding treatment plans, post-operative instructions, and oral health care Set up and break down operatories efficiently Ensure all instruments and equipment are properly maintained and sterilized Travel between multiple office locations as scheduled Support clinical team members as needed to maintain efficient patient flow
Qualifications:
Current Florida Dental Assistant certification Expanded Functions certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of dental assisting experience Endodontic experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate Experience with digital radiography required Experience with Dentrix and/or Denticon preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations
