Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) in the state of Florida and/or ADA/CDA certificate required. Other requirements include Radiology Certificate and knowledge of Dentrix/Dexis Software. Key Components of a Dental Assistant's job is to take dental x-rays, sterilize instruments and equipment, prepare the operatory for each patient, properly document the patient's dental records, assist chairside alongside the dentist. Our Dental Assistants must be comfortable working independently on children for prophys and x-rays. Our ideal candidate is someone that is good with technology, is willing to learn new things, and is a team player.
