Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting orthodontic procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology and techniques, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain the treatment area, including sterilization of instruments and equipment. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care. Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans. Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques and safety protocols in all tasks. Collaborate with other dental professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients. Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient flow within the office. Qualifications Experience or knowledge in general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, or prosthodontics is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and dental terminology is essential. Proficient in assisting with various dental systems and procedures. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate medical records. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while providing excellent patient care. Previous experience in a dental assistant role is an advantage but not mandatory.
