In this vital role, you will support dentists during procedures, manage patient flow, and ensure the highest standards of infection control and clinical confidentiality. Your proactive approach will help create a positive experience for every patient. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing dental instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all tools are ready for use according to infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans using advanced medical imaging technology while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards. Manage patient records accurately using Dentrix, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment by processing dental instruments properly and following infection control procedures. Skills Proficiency in EMR systems such as Dentrix or Eaglesoft. Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical procedures. Experience with dental sterilization procedures, infection prevention management, and instrument processing. Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines and 3D scanners safely and effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients of all ages. Knowledge of healthcare infection prevention and control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff alike.
