Hygiene Assistant (Full-Time, 24 Hours) - East Cobb Family Dentistry Marietta, GA Looking for a 3-day work week with full-time benefits? East Cobb Family Dentistry is seeking a compassionate, motivated Hygiene Assistant to join our growing team! This position offers a Thursday through Saturday schedule (24 hours/week) while still being considered full-time , providing an excellent work-life balance with comprehensive benefits. We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about patient care, and takes pride in supporting our hygiene team to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Schedule Thursday - Saturday 24 hours per week Full-time status with benefits Additional days may be available in the future for those interested. What You'll Do Prepare patients for hygiene appointments. Take digital radiographs and intraoral images as needed. Set up and break down treatment rooms. Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols. Assist hygienists with patient flow and clinical procedures. Chart existing conditions and update patient records. Provide patient education on oral hygiene and home care. Ensure operatories are fully stocked and ready for each patient. Deliver a warm, welcoming experience for every patient. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of dental assisting or hygiene assisting experience preferred. Current Dental Assistant credentials and X-ray certification as required by Georgia regulations. Experience with Open Dental software preferred. Experience with iTero scanners preferred. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented practice.
